THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING IS DESIGNED TO ACHIEVE THE FOLLOWING OUTCOMES:

Enhance the flow of communication between Cricket Australia, The Lord’s Taverners Australia and their respective members;
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN CRICKET AUSTRALIA AND THE LORD’S TAVERNERS AUSTRALIA EXTENDED FOR A FURTHER THREE YEARS.
The Memorandum of Understanding formalising the partnership between CA and the Lord’s Taverners, first signed in 2009 following a handshake agreement between Jack Clarke (then Chairman of Cricket Australia) and the Taverners Chairman, Greg Brown, has been extended for a further 3 years.
At a meeting at Cricket Australia’s Melbourne headquarters late in June, the formalities were completed after minimum discussion reflecting the success of the arrangements agreed at the 2009 Imparja Cup held in Alice Springs.
As part of the Agreement, The Lord’s Taverners Australia will work with Cricket Australia to develop, including financial support, a two-year plan of upcoming events, programs and tours, both domestic and international, for disadvantaged and disability-related programs.
This covers the four main areas of our support – Blind, Deaf, Indigenous and Intellectually Impaired Cricket.
